Dr. Reed pioneered the Reed Procedure in 2006 to treat severe intractable headaches which is now used around the world. He founded Reed Migraine Centers in 2011 and continues ongoing research and publishes papers on pain management topics and the use of implantable neurostimulation devices of the control of pain.
