Robert G. Marvin is a Board Certified General Surgeon who specializes in Minimally-Invasive Surgery (Laparoscopic Surgery) for the cure of Morbid Obesity. He has additional Board Certification in Surgical Critical Care and has been recognized by the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons (ASMBS) and the American College of Surgery (ACS) as a Center of Excellence surgeon in the field of Bariatric Surgery. He is currently the Chief of Bariatric Surgery at University General Hospital and is the Medical Director of Houston Surgical Specialists. He maintains privileges at University General Hospital, The Methodist Hospital, Park Plaza Hospital and Memorial-Hermann Southeast.
