Dr. Michelsen's commitment is to deliver the highest standard of orthopedic care and personal attention to each and every patient. After completing his orthopedic surgery residency in California he decided to return home to Texas. He began to practice in Frisco in 2003 with his current partner Dr. Bruce Douthit. Dr. Michelsen is also the Team Physician for Centennial High School.

Services: Joint Replacement Procedures, ACI Carticel Procedure, and treatment for sports injuries.

Education & Training: Medical school at the University of Des Moines, three years of General Surgery training at Kern Medical Center in California and Orthopedic Surgery training at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and Riverside County Regional Medical Center.
