Mika R. Thomas, MD is a Dallas native who is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well as reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (serving as junior fellow section chair and vice-chair while in residency), the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, the American Medical Association, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the Texas Medical Association, the Dallas County Medical Society, and the Dallas Area Reproductive Endocrinologists. Knowing she wanted to pursue a career in infertility, she spent a summer during medical school participating in research dedicated to endometriosis. This research was featured in many publications, and was on the cover of Fertility and Sterility. Dr. Thomas was elected a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society while in medical school.

Education & Training: Obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in the biological sciences from Southern Methodist University, where she graduated with distinction. While an undergraduate, she was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and was nominated as one of the SMU Decima Chapter of Mortar Board's "Top Ten Sophomores of 1995". Dr. Thomas went on to attend medical school at the University of Texas at San Antonio. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Thomas completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Phoenix, AZ's bustling Maricopa Medical Center and St. Joseph's Hospital. Dr. Thomas finished a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the respected University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
