Effective October 26, 2026
This policy explains what information is collected when you visit bestdocsnetwork.com (the “Website”), which is owned and operated by Current Media (“we”, “us”), and the choices you have.
The short version
- You can watch our videos and use the Website without creating an account or telling us who you are.
- We use Google Analytics to understand how the Website is used, Google AdSense to show ads, and YouTube to play our videos. These Google services use cookies and similar technologies.
- We do not sell your name, email address or other contact details.
- The Website is for general education. Please don’t send us personal health information.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, your browser automatically shares some technical information with us and with the services below, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. Cookies and similar technologies (small files or identifiers stored by your browser) are used to remember this information between visits.
Cookies on this Website
The Website itself does not set any cookies. Cookies are set by the Google services described below, and only some of them on any given page. The list shows typical examples; the exact names and lifetimes are decided by Google and can change. Google lists them in How Google uses cookies.
- Analytics (Google Analytics): for example
_gaand_ga_<ID>. They tell visits apart and remember a visit’s session, so we can count visits and see which pages are used. - Advertising (Google AdSense, including Google’s DoubleClick domain): for example
__gads,__gpi,__eoiandIDE. They show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ads, help prevent fraud and, if you allow it, personalize ads. - Video (YouTube): for example
YSC,VISITOR_INFO1_LIVEandPREF. They play videos, remember player settings and count views.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages and videos are useful (for example, how many people arrive from our YouTube channel). Google Analytics uses cookies to tell visits apart. We use this information in aggregate and do not use it to identify you. You can learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Google AdSense (advertising)
The Website shows ads served by Google AdSense, which helps pay for the Website.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Website and/or other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google’s My Ad Center (Ads Settings). You can also opt out of personalized advertising from some other third-party vendors at www.aboutads.info/choices.
If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will be less related to your interests. More information: How Google uses cookies in advertising.
Embedded YouTube videos
Our video pages play videos through an embedded YouTube player. YouTube (a Google service) may set cookies and collect information about your device and viewing when a page with a player loads and when you play a video, as described in Google’s Privacy Policy. Some video previews (on our home page, and the practice videos on some doctor profiles) load the player from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) only after you click play; their preview images are loaded from YouTube.
Information you choose to give us
- Doctor and practice information. Doctors and practices that join Best Docs Network provide the profile information we publish, such as name, specialty, practice address and website. We also publish professional information about doctors from public sources, such as hospital and practice websites and the national provider registry (NPI).
- Messages to us. If you write to us through our contact form or ask to join Best Docs Network, what you enter (your name, email address, whether you are a patient or a doctor, any practice details and your message) is delivered to us by email through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, and a copy is kept in our private message inbox, hosted by Cloudflare, so we can keep track of which messages we have answered. If you email us, we receive your message directly. We use what you send only to respond to you.
- Questions and appointment requests for a doctor. If you use the “Ask a Question / Request an Appointment” form on a doctor’s profile, what you enter (your name, email address, whether you are asking a question or requesting an appointment, and your message) is delivered to us by email through Web3Forms, and a copy is kept in our private message inbox, hosted by Cloudflare. We pass it on to that doctor’s office so they can respond to you, and use it for nothing else.
Please do not send us medical records or other personal health information. We cannot give medical advice. In an emergency, call 911.
How we use information
We use the information above to run and improve the Website, measure which content is useful, show ads that help fund the Website, respond to messages, and keep the Website secure. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, and to a buyer or successor if the Website changes ownership.
Your choices
- Cookies: Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies. Some features (such as video playback) may not work fully without them.
- Personalized ads: Use My Ad Center or aboutads.info as described above.
- Analytics: Use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Do Not Track: The Website does not change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law (or, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, under data protection law), such as the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information about you, or to opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, contact us. Most of the information described in this policy is collected and held by Google; you can see and manage it in your Google Account and My Ad Center.
How long we keep information
We keep messages you send us for as long as we need them to respond and for our records, and then delete them. Google keeps analytics and advertising data according to its own settings and policies. We do not keep any other personal information about visitors.
Security
The Website is served only over a secure (HTTPS) connection, has no user accounts and does not ask for passwords or payment details. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so please don’t send us sensitive information.
Children
The Website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Links to other websites
The Website links to doctors’ and practices’ own websites, YouTube and other sites. Their privacy practices are their own; please review their policies.
Where information is processed
The Website is operated from the United States. Information collected through it, including by Google and Web3Forms, may be processed in the United States and other countries.
