Dr. Ned Snyder IV is a native of Waco, TX, where he graduated Salutatorian from Waco High School. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and an Active Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgeons. He is published in multiple peer reviewed medical journals and has given numerous presentations. He is an active member and current President of the Austin Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Snyder's passion is for autologous breast reconstruction, he is the original DIEP surgeon in the Austin area. He specializes in DIEP flaps and microsurgical breast reconstruction.

Education & Training: Medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Residency in Plastic Surgery, Dr. Snyder is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and an Active Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgeons. He is published in multiple peer reviewed medical journals and has given numerous presentations. He was recently honored to be the Blocker-Lewis invited Lecturer for University of Texas Medical Branch in 2011 for the Graduating Surgical Residents Ceremony. He is an active member and current President of the Austin Society of Plastic Surgeons, Fellowship in perforator flaps and Deep Inferior Epigastric Perforator (DIEP) flaps for breast reconstruction under world-renowned micro-surgeon, Professor Philip Blondeel at the Universiteit Gent.
