Overview
Dr. Ronald Hoxworth is a plastic surgeon and professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where he serves as chief of plastic surgery for the university hospitals and directs the abdominal wall reconstruction program. He earned his medical degree at Jefferson Medical College, completed general surgery training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and then trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery at UT Southwestern; he also holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Hoxworth is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. His clinical work includes complex hernia and abdominal wall reconstruction, abdominoplasty and pediatric reconstructive surgery, and he sees patients at the UT Southwestern plastic surgery clinic on Inwood Road.
