Overview
Dr. Sumeet Teotia is a professor of plastic surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and director of its Breast Reconstruction Program. Dr. Teotia earned his medical degree at the University of Virginia, trained in general surgery at the Mayo Clinic, completed plastic surgery training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and finished a fellowship in aesthetic surgery at UT Southwestern. Dr. Teotia’s practice centers on breast reconstruction after cancer, using microsurgical flap techniques such as DIEP, lumbar artery perforator, profunda artery perforator and stacked flaps. Dr. Teotia sees patients in English at the UT Southwestern Plastic Surgery Clinic on Inwood Road.
