Overview
Dr. Alpa Shah is a board-certified neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist who sees patients at Neurology & Sleep Clinic in Carrollton. She received her medical degree from Topiwala National Medical College, did internships at Saint Louis University and UT Southwestern, and then completed her neurology residency and a clinical neurophysiology fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Her interests include peripheral nerve disorders such as carpal tunnel syndrome and neuropathy, seizure disorders, ALS, headache, movement disorders, and neurological conditions in women and pregnancy. Dr. Shah is affiliated with Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano and sees patients in English, Gujarati, Hindi and Marathi.
