Overview
Dr. Charisse Barta is a board-certified neurologist at Texas Neurology Consultants in Plano, with extra training in clinical neurophysiology and neuromuscular disease. She earned her medical degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, did her internship at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, and completed her neurology residency at Washington University / Barnes-Jewish Hospital before a clinical neurophysiology fellowship at Saint Louis University. Dr. Barta is also certified in electromyography, is affiliated with Texas Health Plano, where she has served as president of the medical board and teaches internal medicine residents, and sees patients in English.
