Overview
Dr. Daragh Heitzman is a board-certified neurologist at Texas Neurology in Dallas, with added certification in neuromuscular and electrodiagnostic medicine. He directs the practice’s ALS and motor neuron disorder clinic, which is sponsored by the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and has particular interests in nerve and muscle disease, EMG testing and botulinum toxin treatment for movement disorders and spasticity. Dr. Heitzman earned his medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, trained in neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he was chief resident, and completed a neuromuscular fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and is affiliated with Baylor University Medical Center and UT Southwestern.
