Overview
Dr. Sadat Shamim is a neurologist and epilepsy specialist with Baylor Scott & White Neurology - Dallas. He earned his medical degree at Dow Medical College, completed an internal medicine internship at the University of Cincinnati and a neurology residency at Georgetown University Medical Center, then did a fellowship in epilepsy and neurophysiology at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Shamim is board certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy; he previously directed the inpatient neurology service at Baylor Dallas and served as chief of neurology for Baylor Scott & White from 2018 to 2021. His outpatient practice covers most general neurological conditions, with special interest in epilepsy, stroke and memory disorders, and he sees patients in English and Urdu.
