Overview
Dr. Shanan Munoz is a neurologist and assistant professor of neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where she treats multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica and other autoimmune neurologic conditions as well as general neurology patients. She earned her medical degree at the University of Oklahoma, completed an internal medicine internship there, and then trained in neurology at UT Southwestern, followed by a fellowship in neurophysiology. After many years in private practice, Dr. Munoz rejoined UT Southwestern as faculty in 2013 and sees patients at the James W. Aston Ambulatory Care Center on Harry Hines Boulevard.
