Overview
Dr. Steven Vernino is a neurologist and Distinguished Teaching Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where he also serves as Vice Chair for Education and Faculty Affairs in the Department of Neurology. He directs the Autonomic Disorders Clinic and the Multiple System Atrophy Clinic, and his practice centers on autoimmune, autonomic and neuromuscular disorders. Dr. Vernino earned his M.D. and a Ph.D. in neuroscience at Baylor College of Medicine, then completed his internship, neurology residency and a neuroimmunology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. He is board certified in neurology, neuromuscular medicine, electrodiagnostic medicine and autonomic disorders.
