A simple swap can instantly boost protein in your favorite savory recipes. Today, I’m breaking down the differences between stock, broth, and bone broth.

What’s the difference?
Regular broth is made by simmering meat + veggies.
Stock is made by simmering meat + veggies + bones.
‘Bone broth’ is super-charged by cooking the meat + veggies + bones much longer.

Which one is better for you?
Bone broth has more protein and collagen than the other products. While your average chicken broth has 1g of protein per serving, bone both has 7g per serving. This makes it a helpful substitute when you’re trying to get more protein.

Always taste as you go
Be sure to adjust the salt content of whatever you’re making, because the more concentrated flavor of bone broth automatically adds some salty flavor.

I’m all for ways to increase your protein in your daily diet that don’t require a ton of extra work.

Try this swap out if you haven’t before and let me know what you think!
