From the video’s description on YouTube

A lot of people ask me how much they have to weigh to qualify for bariatric surgery, the number we look at is BMI (Body Mass Index).

BMI is a rough measure of an adult’s body fat, based on height and weight.

If your BMI is over 40 or over 35 with comorbidities like diabetes, high blood pressure, obstructive sleep apnea, fatty liver disease, etc., you could be a good candidate for bariatric surgery.

If you have any questions about this or anything else related to bariatric surgery, leave them in the comments and I’ll get back to you.
