People often ask me if bariatric surgery can be reversed.

And the answer is: not really, but revisions can be made if you experience severe complications (which are rare).

The changes made to your body in bariatric surgery should be considered permanent. But if you are one of the small percentage of bariatric surgery patients who experiences a serious complication after surgery, you can discuss revision options with your surgeon.

If you have any other questions about the bariatric surgery process, leave them in the comments below and I’ll be happy to answer them!
